The closed General Motors plant in Oshawa is opening its doors once again.

“This is a historic day for Oshawa,” said UNIFOR president Jerry Dias during the Thursday announcement. “It’s a real homerun for Oshawa and for the GTA, Ontario and Canada. We never gave up.
