In a follow-up phone call, Corrigan questioned the overall value of some tech stocks, saying: "What are you as the investor getting out of it, other than the fact you're waiting for somebody else to buy it? And then you can't realize it unless you sell it yourself."

Corrigan said Cantillon has been recommending other types of "real world" stocks for a number of months.
