Bayelsa State Governor, Douye Diri, on Monday said the state would give priority to the health sector as part of the initiative to improve the overall well-being of citizens of the state.
The governor in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Daniel Alabrah, said a centre for disease control would be established in the state within 16 months as part of policies being unfolded in the sector.
