PETALING JAYA: Police are investigating a fight at the Kuala Lumpur wholesale market reported to have occurred due to a misunderstanding between parties over the pushing of a vegetable basket. Sentul district police chief Beh Eng Lai said the police had been made aware of three videos posted on Facebook that showed the fight in progress.He said the police arrived at the scene shortly after receiving information about the fight, which occurred at 4.30pm yesterday.Beh added that police found that no weapons had been used during the altercation.

He said an investigation paper was opened under Section 160 of the Penal Code for rioting in public places and Regulation 16 of the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Regulations 2021.He said anyone with information about the incident should contact the Sentul District Police Headquarters at 03-40482206.
