Steel and cement players are critical in the supply chain of the construction industry, says Master Builders Association Malaysia.

Since the start of the full lockdown from June 1, the supply chain has been disrupted, said Master Builders Association Malaysia president Sufri Mhd Zin. “The critical construction projects that are still in operation throughout this lockdown are facing low stock rate in the supply chain,” he said in a statement.

“Currently, only 10% of the steel and cement players’ workforce are allowed, and they are idling or doing maintenance work, with no actual production operations.

Woiii....they call it lockdown....which part that u dont understand

The are many more Association in this country...not only Master Builders. Others are suffering from FMCO. Why spare Master Builders?

Shutdown all Non-Essential construction sites and plants/factories for 2 weeks. They're main contributors of new emerging clusters. Lets do it together. Only way to see light at the end of the tunnel. Let TSMY PN Govt handle with the finances. They wanted to be the Govt anyway.
