He said in a statement this was the promised additional RM500 financial assistance for micro SMEs under the Pemerkasa Plus assistance programme.
He added that the government has given its commitment to assist businesses, especially micro SMEs, facing cashflow troubles.Tengku Zafrul said RM1,000 each was handed out to eligible micro SMEs in June. “For those micro SMEs which have not received any Prihatin financial assistance, registration will be open from July 15 to 31,” said Tengku Zafrul.
"This includes easy loan schemes amounting RM2.9bil through Bank Simpanan Nasional, Agrobank, Mara, SME Corp, YAPEIM dan Tekun,” he added.
