Current rules limit the amount of cannabis-infused beverages a customers can buy. — via TheGrowthOp

Rules governing beverages are based on a formula crafted by Health Canada that gives a standard 355 millilitre can the equivalent of 5.5 grams of cannabis.

“They’ve acknowledged that this is not exactly working out at intended,” Smitherman said. “So really we have been stuck with this problem since 2.0 products came out almost two years ago.” Among the questions Health Canada asked: “Do you think the current public possession limit for cannabis beverages should be increased? If yes, please explain what you think an appropriate public possession limit would be for these products and why.”Article contentThe result of that consultation is now awaited.

“Companies have made huge investments in production lines and such, so there’s a lot of anxiousness to take advantages of the innovations that have been made,” he said.
