Some say the plant-based product Kratom is great for muscle pain, cramps, even opioid withdrawal. Others want it banned.

Radnor Township resident John Riccoutti told 6ABC this isn’t the right location for the store. “You have a private school down the street. And you know what else? You’re breeding an industry for people to go in there and buy and sell to kids. That’s what you’re doing,” Riccoutti told the news station.

In a statement to 6ABC, the company that opened the store said it was working to comply with all township regulations, with CBD Kratom’s Vice President Dafna Revah adding: Radnor Township Board of Commissioners President Moira Mulroney told 6ABC the store’s opening took township officials by surprise. “Had no idea that was coming in,” Mulroney told 6ABC.
