Gauteng Police commissioner Elias Mawela is expected to brief the media this evening.A man has been shot and killed in an office in Springfield Park in Durban. ALS paramedics responded to the shooting together with the police.
ALS Paramedics Medical Services spokesperson Rowan Scandroglio says the man was declared deceased on the scene . “ALS paramedics together with SAPS responded to a shooting incident that had occurred on Elctron road in the Springfield area. On arrival, paramedics were escorted to an office by police where they found a male believed to be in his forties had sustained gunshot wounds. Unfortunately there was nothing more paramedics could do for him. SAPS will be investigating further.”A security officer has been killed in a shooting at Umlazi, south of Durban.
Emer-G-Med spokesperson Kyle van Reenen, “A security officer has been killed whilst another has been airlifted in a critical condition following a shooting incident in Umlazi south of Durban. Emer-G-Med paramedics responded to the scene in B section to find the two men seated in a Datsun Go.
