The hardest moments were laying off our staff, and we did it two different times. It was gut-wrenching. There was also the thought of someone getting sick because of something we did or didn’t do.The hardest moments business-wise were having enough staff for the business levels we have experienced. At first, we didn’t have enough because we were so busy. Once we were staffed up, we had too many associates when the City and County moved to outdoor-only seating.
