Let me get this right. Govt appointed watchdog CAA complaining to industry about its inability to cope with recruiting problems caused by covid and Brexit fall out. What’s govt doing - supporting fire and rehire and other policies that are now biting back against employers.
Birmingham Airport .... been queueing here since 6am - haven't reached Security yet!
An avoidable, man made crisis. STOP TESTING PEOPLE!!!!!! 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
The industry only has themselves to blame. Too quick to seize on the opportunity that Covid presented by ‘streamlining’ their workforce to a cheaper model via fire & rehire/redundancy.
