While it was initially left unclear how long the measure would be in place, AEMO on Tuesday outlined guidelines for a “staged process” to resume regular market operations, flagging that the market will be monitored for at least 24 hours to judge whether the suspension can end.
“These criteria will ... give AEMO sufficient confidence that it can end the market suspension with minimal risk of the same conditions re-emerging in the very short term.
