Two of the world’s biggest agencies have joined forces after one bought the other in a multi-million-pound deal.Well, it is a pretty big one. Creative Artists Agency’s acquisition of International Creative Management Partners is worth $750 million and is set to change the face of the agency industry.
We will get to the football in a minute but, globally, these two agencies are better known for looking after Hollywood film stars than Bournemouth left-backs. Combined, the two firms have more of a bargaining chip as important figures in the industry clash with the movie studios over how directors, writers and actors make their millions in the streaming age.
