“Rebecca and Bruce’s version of Macbeth is the perfect mix of Shakespeare and the world of improv. This highly unique way of doing Shakespeare was extremely well received but it was a short run so not everyone who wanted to see it could,” says the company’s artistic director Haysam Kadri. “This is the perfect way to introduce students to Shakespeare and especially Macbeth which is on their curriculum. We were able to bring in students from a school in Cochrane and that matinee performance was like a rock concert. They loved it and we want as many Calgary schools as possible to have the opportunity to bring their students.”
