A demand for eco-camping and caravanning shows no sign of abating in South Australia with two new sites set for development at Port MacDonnell and Penola.

Two new glamping sites are being developed in Penola and Port MacDonnellOne South East holiday park operator says there has been a rise in the popularity of eco tents and 'glamping' across the region, with two new sites set for development at Port MacDonnell and Penola.

Coonawarra Bush Holiday Park owner Steven Moignard says he installed 20 eco tents at his site in 2015 and has seen growth of about 25 per cent every year, prior to the pandemic. Mr Moignard says the 'glamping' experience is popular as visitors can enjoy camping without having to give up their creature comforts.
