For those that want to live by the sea, these three homes offer that possibility, without a huge budget

Although some people think of the beach as a summertime destination, I’ve always been of the opinion that the Irish coastline in particular is at its most appealing in the other three seasons of the year.

Anyone who shares the same opinion would perhaps see the appeal of living within a stone’s throw of the coast, providing the opportunity to enjoy its beauty all year round. This three-bed terraced townhouse is bright and modern, with features including oak floors and a cast iron fireplace. It’s close to the centre of the village, and has a south west facing rear garden. This three-bed bungalow is close to Carrere village, and is within 500m of the shoreline, close to Coral Strand. Although it needs an update, it offers a new owner the opportunity to put their own stamp on the home.
