Domenicali is confident the early conclusion of the 2022 drivers' championship battle will have no impact on F1's revenue.

clinched the 2022 world championship at Suzuka with four rounds still to run, while his Red Bull team secured the constructors’ version at the next race in the USA.

"Well, actually, we don't see any kind of risk at all,” he said when asked in a call with Wall Street analysts if the lack of a title showdown would be bad for F1’s finances. “But what we saw on the track is wheel-to-wheel racing. That's what we wanted. And I'm totally confident that next year the fight on the track will arrive up to end of the calendar. And as you'll see, the last races, on the sporting side there is a lot of attention.

“On the other hand, the fact that we have long-term agreements will reduce the exposure to this risk. And what I can say and share with you is that we already see an incredible number of pre-registrations with regards to ticketing of next year.

Really! Has he not seen that a very large proportion the audience are sick of the cheating and bias that the FIA and RBR are embroiled in. Genuine followers of Formula 1 are NOT happy!

Lack of credibility and integrity will, though

I still don’t understand why this is an issue? Lewis being champion with 3-4 races to go in 2015 and 2017-2020 was a great achievement and all, it was all hail Lewis and more. So now it’s Max, it’s boring, not hood for the sport and so on? Or is this just another UK biased thing?

Need f1 playoffs ASAP

F1 survived for 8 years in a row when merc dominated. It will be fine.

Domenicali: Lack of 2022 title showdown won’t impact F1 businessFormula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali has downplayed any suggestion that the early resolution of the 2022 world championship battle will impact interest in the final races of the season. I don't know what posesses the pundits to think it does have an effect. They keep banging on about it, but I think it's just to create news and controversy so they then have something to write about. As usual. There are still some fantastic battles for P4, P6 etc and also in the drivers championship. The sport needs to focus on these as much as 'the title' I didn’t expect any breach of the cost cap to have championship deciding ramifications either
