The skyrocketing cost of diesel is having a significant impact on local businesses.
Akita Equipment and Auto Transport, a local and long-distance trucking company based in the metro region, is among those feeling the pinch. Owner Chris Howlett says the rising cost of diesel has been affecting them over the last six to eight months, but it has gone to a whole new level in the last week.in the last few days.“For the most part we’re not carrying quotes right now over 24 hours,” Howlett tells VOCM News.
Someone must have forgot to tell him how to file for the massive fuel rebates trucking companies are getting from our government that most know nothing about. Some companies are almost doubling what they get for a trip so fuel prices for them aren't an issue. Look it up...
0hVolvo Talked to an elderly woman today that said she spent over $11 on a head of lettuce and one tomato. She was craving tacos. That’s not right.
0hVolvo Ya think? 🤦🏻
Disel prices goes up means everything goes up!, Goods and Services including Gas and Home Heating! No thanks to FureyAndrew and the liberal_party , going green will be the end of our nation.
It’s not a recession, it’s Our Government robbing from its people
Of course it is that is what they are doing it for. They want to cripple the people and the economy as to have everyone dependent on the corrupt government and get everyone hooked up to the universal basic income . Part of Agenda 21
Rising diesel prices are body blows to the economy and a driver of out of control inflation.
Everybody … let’s thank the liberals for the excellent policies that have led to the doubling of our fuel costs!! Thank you liberals!!! We didn’t want that extra money anyways
I suppose it does! And what choice do they have besides passing the cost on to the consumer?
