Two First Coast organizations have been ranked among Forbes'"America’s Best Employers for Veterans" list, including the city of Jacksonville., the city of Jacksonville came in at No. 128 and FIS came in at No. 170.
Forbes’ partner, market research firm Statista, surveyed more than 7,000 U.S. veterans to compile the list of companies with at least 1,000 employees. Respondents were asked to offer their opinions of other companies in their industry and evaluate their employer’s inclusion of career development for veteran leaders, as well as its philanthropic efforts towards veteran issues.
