Here is what rising prices mean for your Thanksgiving

A feast for 10 with 12 menu items including a turkey, stuffing, cranberries, and pumpkin pie mix will cost $64.05 on average — up $10.74 from last year. That breaks down to about $6.50 per person, according to the annual survey. The price of a 16-pound turkey is $28.96 on average this year, up 21% from 2021, according to the survey. Inflation cooled last month but still remains elevated at 7.7% for the year ending in October.

Every Thanksgiving meal item tracked by the Farm Bureau rose in cost this year, except for one: cranberries. A 12-ounce bag of fresh cranberries dropped by 14% to $2.57. The biggest price increases were on stuffing, which is up a whopping 69%, and pie crusts and whipped cream — both up 26%, the survey said. The Farm Bureau also priced out an “expanded holiday menu” with additional items: ham, Russet potatoes, and frozen green beans, which would add an additional $17.25 to a meal for 10.

If you voted Democrat don't complain about it

Why you lying.

Thank Joe Biden and his green initiatives for this. Instead of drilling for more oil, we entered a shortage, driving up transportation costs. That along with the American Rescue Plan that put too much money in the peoples pockets, everyone quit work.

“The cost of printing money” (alleged inflation) is making boxed stuffing cost 70% more I call BS. I call profiteering.

But your President is winning the war against Russia so it is worth the extra expense.

Costs we're up in 2021. Imagine 2023 as the Media fiddles while Americans wallets burn. Bidenflation policies Matter

Costco had fresh Butterballs for $0.99/lb, same as last year and the year before. $14.00 will feed 6 of us easily.

Number 1 cost saving item: Get Biden out of Whitehouse.

I spent $140 to make stuffing and cranberry sauce…and $100 to make Mac and cheese. In NJ.

I got a 15lb turkey for $17.....oh wait, I think its a cat....

Instead of talking about rising inflation, why not talk about corporate price gouging ? The cause of rising inflation.

Make chicken?

There were food lines for groceries two years ago. Things are better.

My President suggested I buy generic Raisin Bran to fight inflation. Is this a holiday twist on that? It just doesn't feel like we're building back better.

Stop! Think of the people in Ukraine. Think of the babies starving in Africa.

The White House offered this helpful idea to help meet your budget.

You get what you voted for

It's the same the world over greedy multinational companies squeezing the people because of covid etc. All so the shareholders won't suffer.

Here’s one: stop voting democrat

7 Don’t invite mother in law ✅

It’s $0.59/lb people need to chill. Imagine being raised and slaughtered only for your whole body to be sold for $10 🙄

Best cost saving you could do is vote every single democrat.

And, I’m just gonna be the one to say it because nobody really has the balls, but America wouldn’t hurt if its people ate a little less during the holidays. Give it to the people who need it, folks. Trust me, most of you don’t. KeepItReal

Let’s hear more about corporate greed and wealthy 1% not paying taxes and record corporate profits. They are making up for losses in the pandemic. Shameful.

Yet, Friday, there shall be another great food waste...

This is Far-Right propaganda. DoBetter

Interesting how media reports. All media. Talk about struggling economy and then switch to Taylor Swift tickets & price and also the money folks are spending on traveling, airline tickets etc. Media is erratic. Mixed msges on economy.

It’s time to adjust the global market is struggling

For a straight news story, shouldn’t the audience decide whether it’s “whopping”?

Sorry…our costs were flat to lower compared to last year. Turkey was 89¢ a pound as well.

No…. We can thank Biden.

So, It will cost me an extra $18.00 .

It’s ok people… this is only transitioning, it’s for your own good.

Celebrating genocide

No, you can thank the Biden admin and all you losers who pushed for him

And who is responsible for this inflation that we are all so grateful for CNN?

Government needs to keep printing more Monopoly money. We just can’t get enough.

LUVSS LUVSS YYEEAARRSS

Inflation is global.

Thanks Biden

I will be home doing math & building programs. Will cost me 100% less.

Democrats blame the Ukraine war, how come Iraq and Afghanistan didn't have this effect on inflation?

When is the Inflation Reduction Act supposed to kick in?

I have that feeling , especially when I was shopping on Amazon

I don’t thank inflation, why not as Butterball why their turkeys cost more because their profits are up 20%

Another fine record for Democrats 🤣

That means i will pay 14 dollars more. The sky is falling!

Thanks Joe Biden.

Thank the Traitorous RepubliCON ARTISTS for their continued support of Corporate America. AKA: buy a “lawmaker”

Islamic Republic thugs killed another minor! Kian Pirfalak, reportedly 10yo, from Izeh. Video shows his body. Cameraman:'He was coming home with his father, Islamic Republic thugs shot up his car from 4 sides.' Many wounded & killed today across Iran. مهسا_امینی

Smaller meals, means less obesity...

Understandably, it costs to live by ones and zeros on a scale of zero to one how so input for output. Countdown change begins with me.

STOP THE PANIC message. Thanksgiving will be fine for everyone. Every year same price shit. Prices come and go. Stop scaring the American people. We are not scared and will live our normal lives.

Really? Really
