After moving the Founders Cup from the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resortand not having a tournament in Phoenix in 2022, the LPGA announced Friday it would be returning to the Valley in 2023.

Superstition Mountain was home to the LPGA’s Safeway International event from 2004 to 2008 and is the home club to nine LPGA Tour players including Jennifer Kupcho, one of the top ranked players in the world. While the LPGA is back in the Valley, right now the Drive On Championship is only signed on for one year at Superstition Mountain.
