Africa Prudential Plc announced that it has been recognised as the most outstanding company in the cooperative industry at the 4th National Cooperative Awards, Symposium & Exhibition organized by the Cooperative Rating & Award Society of Nigeria (CRASoN).

In a statement, the firm stated that the award recognises companies that have in one way or another brought new innovations and creativity to support cooperative societies and have developed solutions that add more value and increase efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability in the sector.

Speaking on the award, the MD/CEO of Africa Prudential, Obong Idiong, expressed his gratitude to the award organisers and members of staff.According to him, the award is a testament to the strides the company is making to create value through innovative solutions that make life easier for members of the cooperative industry. He further stated that the company sees the cooperative society as a major player in the economic development of the country.

The statement noted that the Nigerian National Cooperative Award aims to enhance awareness, and further promote cooperatives’ socio-economic impacts, good governance, and sustainable business model by demonstrating to governments, policymakers and development partners, the socio-economic importance of cooperatives.All rights reserved.
