Remember that 'computer' generated 1,000 pt drop in market few yrs ago? Where are the market controls that were supposed to prevent these massive computer generated selloffs? A computer only does what you tell it to or allow it to do. Time to end the fed

Nobody understands the markets anymore because nobody knows what the algorithms are doing or understands the results. In the end you're paying mgmt fees to some guy that just looks at the screen and and clicks buy/sell depending on the suggested course of action by the software.

This is such nonsense. Algorithmic trading has existed for a couple decades and has accounted for a material portion of trading almost as long. HFT stocks investing
