The business rescue practitioners of Optimum Coal Mine have launched a daring bid to wrestle control of R3.4 billion worth of the mine's preserved assets from a curator appointed by the courts.– the biggest in the National Prosecuting Authority's history – for the Gupta family's Tegeta's shares in the mine, its day-to-day operations, and Optimum Coal Terminal .
