British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has come under fire for what critics called an"excruciating" exchange with a homeless man.
In footage from his visit to a homeless shelter in London on Friday, the Prime Minister can be heard asking a man he is serving food to:"Do you work in business?"Labour deputy leader Angela Rayner tweeted the ITV clip and wrote:"Excruciating."Excruciating.pic.twitter.com/mtd9pYBOt0 — Angela Rayner 🌹 December 24, 2022 The awkward exchange began when the multimillionaire Prime Minister was serving breakfast to the homeless man, who asked him:"Are you sorting the economy out?"When Dean replied finance, the Prime Minister said:"I used to work in finance, actually.""Yeah I wouldn't mind. But, I don't know, I'd like to get through Christmas first," the homeless man said.
It actually wasn't excruciating but okay. The man was in fact interested in business.
It wasn't at all excruciating. It was a completely normal interaction between two adults. Happy Christmas to both gentlemen.
Don't see what's excruciating about it.. Homeless guy said he was interested in the finance sector... Media making headlines out of fuck all.
Lol, is he secretly FF/FG? 😀😀😀Bice save though at the end! 😝😝😝
Wow
Well when you have a billionair prick for Pm.. What you expect.
Don't hear too many ' excruciating' exchanges between Dublin politicians and your homeless problems.
The horror!
The last PR stunt to have gone that badly was Andrew trying to convince the world that this didn't happen.
Absolutely mortifying.
