In joining Texas Capital, Ginn said he has excitement about being part of something new. Despite already seeing what he described as"significant disruption" in the residential mortgage sector, Ginn expects dealmaking between firms to continue next year even if the economy enters a recession. Ginn discussed his outlook for M&A including how rising interest rates are impacting valuations and the ability for companies to make deals.
