The chief executive of the small business council has resigned, after a backlash by some members and Liberal MPs over the group’s role in the Albanese government’s industrial relations changes.

The sweeping industrial relations law passed parliament in December.

I look forward to keeping engaged with COSBOA’s future and will always be on hand to help out.”Mr Addison will oversee CEO activities with the assistance of colleagues, while a formal process for recruitment of a new chief is carried out.
