Electra Consumer Products Ltd., a master franchisee of Irving-based 7-Eleven, Inc., has opened its first 7-Eleven store in Israel, the company announced today.
The store will be located in Tel Aviv at the Dizengoff Center Mall, serving the country's second-largest city and largest metropolitan area. "With its thriving economy and growing population, Israel offers an excellent environment for 7–Eleven's first retail venture in the region,", 7-Eleven International co-CEO, said in a news release."Our entrance into the country brings Israeli customers a one-stop-shop solution with quality fresh food and convenience needs, via a store format not currently prevalent in the market. We are excited to provide citizens and tourists alike with world-class convenience.
The Tel Aviv store will offer 7-Eleven's traditional retail environment, international and local products and beverages, along with fresh kosher foods developed for Israeli taste preferences, including sandwiches, traditional salads, legume salads and sausages. Hot products such as Zaatar Pita, Kube and Fatayer will also be available.
According to a news release, the new store in Israel is a result of the signing of a 20-year master franchise agreement between 7-Eleven International LLC and Electra to operate stores in Israel.
