After Joe Biden took office as vice president, Frank Biden went to work for a charter school startup in Florida called Mavericks in Education. He registered in 2011 as a lobbyist for the company, which identified him in press releases as the “brother of Vice President Joe Biden.” His job included pitching new schools to local officials in the Sunshine State. Part of his pitch was being a Biden.
