Reporters often joke that journalists are going to the “dark side” when they go into PR. After reading about Geoff Morrell, a hero I didn’t know I needed, I understand the temptation.
billion Citadel is now the most successful hedge fund ever after bringing in $16 billion last year. The Miami-based fund, founded and run by Ken Griffin, topped the 2022 ranking of the world’s best-performing hedge funds based on estimates from LCH Investments. As I gaze into my 2023 crystal ball, I’m envisioning the business and economics stories that will so dominate the news that you’ll all be sick of them soon. I’m seeing the words “recession,” “crypto,” “debt ceiling,” the “M&M’s spokescandy scandals…” And yet, I am bound my duty as a journalist not to shy away from the hard candy shell news.

Negative news to turn public opinion against Disney…interesting…why now…
Well, when you destroy a brand, it isn't cheap to do. Only the right person can tank an iconic company
At the same time, they raised the prices of disney parks to make it harder for middlow to low income people to experience their woke agenda park.
Deshaun Watson made $72k per day doing nothing in 2021 for the Texans because he sexually assaulted 20+ women. Seems more egregious to me. 🤷♂️
The only reason a head of PR is valuable is because the general public created high demand for empty, nonsensical virtue signaling and an endless void that demands apologies, “branding” and moral posturing.
Disney calls for inclusion and equity... but gives them a 150k a day salary.
👎
