Yes. Just like digital photography and Walmart printing has closed most of the photography studios. Almost as good for 1/10 the price wins.

Without reading the article I’m going to say probably not. Most people that want headshots of themselves need them for a professional purpose. A cartoony AI version doesn’t exactly check that box.
