More than 6,000 cafégoers and coffee drinkers attended the 10th annual San Antonio Coffee Festival at Travis Park on Saturday.

Twenty-eight coffee roastery vendors offered more than 80 different samples of coffee from around the world.

One of the vendors is 16-year-old Darren Mota. The upcoming coffee artist recently opened his business, Texas Bay Brew Coffee, just last month. The company is part of a partnership with“I’ve always wanted to have my own business and be an entrepreneur. The opportunity just came by thanks to junior and my dad,” Mota said.

Darren said his father teamed up with a business buddy who supplies coffee beans for his business. He said part of his success is guidance from his family. “I…took him to the courthouse to get his business assumed name.
