With that logic you could sue any company that makes a super or hyper car. Maybe an 18 yr old that cant respect speed limits shouldn't be driving at all.

the kid who took out the light pole speeding in the 30 mph zone should be charged with gross vehicular negligence. This is beyond a frivolous lawsuit if every brat that got behind the wheel of a Corvette sued the company they wouldn't be making them. Should pay Tesla legal fees

No, a reasonably unsafe person was driving the car and now the parents are getting a meal ticket out of it that they don't need. If they said the money won would go to teaching teenagers to drive safe I would be fine with it. Stop suing for everything and anything...

And McDonald's makes hot coffee. Haven't we hashed this one out?

I think any automobile that is traveling at 116 miles per hour becomes unreasonably dangerous. Has any pedestrian operated car survived a 116 mile an hour crash? Why should Tesla be held accountable for the stupidity of others?

almost all cars have speedometers that can go up to 120..so you have to ask...where can you drive this fast and why is the motor capable of producing this much speed when you can't drive that level anywhere?..

Why would you drive 116mph in the streets... cmon be smart
