Past innovations reduced the amount of work hours required to produce a product and provide a service and thus reduced the total hours per work week. This trend will continue with future innovations but will result in a shorter work week.
I know it works for me ☺️. I feel better after work and during work from home. It saves money on gas and food. I’m more focused. When I go in on my one day in the office. It’s fine but I get distracted a lot at times. My energy is low as well.

40% of U.S. businesses offer 4 10 hour days work week. 15% of businesses offer 4 8 hour days. If the business is willing to offer a 4 day work week, then I see no reason why they shouldn't. Either option is putting more free time in the employee's hands.

Another thing companies are doing is 12 hour work days. Work 4 days one week and 3 days the next, get more days off and still average more than 40 hours a week
My only concern with 4 day work week is 8h days. In 45 yrs of management, I always felt I got the most accomplished working a 10h day.
