Splitsville was purchased by HBG in May 2022 with the intention of expanding its holdings in Canada. Splitsville runs five centres out of Ontario and one in Nanaimo, B.C. YYC Bowling is the largest venue of the three, with 40,000 square feet of space for 30 lanes of bowling, an arcade, minigolf, pool tables and other amenities. Keen said HBG refurbishes about five to seven of its centres in the U.K. every year for about $1 million per project.
