During the same period a generating unit each at Camden and Kendal power stations was taken offline for repairs.
Repairs to the damaged towers at the Cahora Bassa project in Mozambique are continuing and will only be completed by next week. On Saturday, it was announced that load shedding would be downgraded after 05:00 on Sunday, but over the past 24 hours, a generating unit each at Camden, Duvha, Majuba and two units at Kriel Power Station suffered breakdowns and were taken offline for repairs.

And every month the accounting officer will have to go to parliament to explain what they have procured, for what and how.
