Actor Ryan Reynolds has majorly cashed in after his wireless company Mint Mobile was bought by the United States' second largest network provider, T-Mobile, for $2 billion.

On Wednesday, the Deadpool star announced the news to sell Mint in a bid to deliver 5G to a greater number of people, particularly lower-income customers.

T-Mobile acquired parent company Ka’ena Corporation and its subsidiaries Mint Mobile and Ultra Mobile for US$1.35 billion , which it paid for with 39 per cent cash and 61 per cent stock.

Joined Mint trying to avoid the big carriers and ended up right where I started. If they can go a few months without a data breach it would be really nice.

His take will be around $ 350 million. Not too shabby! He is a 25% owner not the soul owner.

Both T-Mobile and Mint Mobile have had successful cyber attacks run against them, mining user accounts. At least all my Mint Mobile burner phones aren't tied to my real identity and are on secure encrypted phones running GrapheneOS.
