A 9:35 a.m. police received a call of a robbery of a Brink’s vehicle in the Pete’s Fresh Market parking lot, 1968 Sibley Boulevard, said Calumet City spokesman Sean Howard.

A Brink’s armored vehicle was robbed Wednesday at the Pete’s Fresh Market in Calumet City, officials said.

A 9:35 a.m. police received a call of a robbery of a Brink’s vehicle in the Pete’s Fresh Market parking lot, 1968 Sibley Blvd., said Calumet City spokesman Sean Howard.The FBI responded to the scene and took over the investigation, but an FBI spokesman would not provide additional details.
