When you were five years old, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I definitely wanted to be some kind of singer or dancer because that was probably my favorite thing to do — and still is.What quality do you think has served you best in your career so far? Seeing the value in people and connecting them. Community is so important to me. I have a lot of friends that I’ve connected with other friends and it makes our community stronger. My favorite thing to do is connect people.I like when people compliment my style because [the way I dress] is something that I don't do for other people. I do it for myself. So it makes me feel seen.
I recently got a henna tattoo on my hand. I like that it looks like a pattern, like a fabric, so that would be it.The beach — the sand, the suntan oil. But I also love the smell of a baby’s breath. It’s just… you know?Using all of my emotions and intuition to build [myself] up to be this really strong person who can take on anything. I've become a sensitive person, but I’m [working up to] using that as a strength.I really admire selfless people like mothers, nurses, and teachers.
