Kwaito legend Arthur Mafokate says he will fight an attempt by the National Director of Public Prosecutions to have his R7.5 million luxury Midrand guesthouse forfeited to the state.

La Villa Rosa, located roughly halfway between Pretoria and Johannesburg, is a bed and breakfast offering rooms for between R1 000 and R3 000 a night. The guesthouse, which sits on a 1.3ha property and is marketed as having"large beautiful gardens and a country feel", was bought by Mafokate's company 999 Music in December 2015.
