UPS and the Teamsters union are set to resume talks on a new collective bargaining agreement this week before the current deal expires at the end of July and an August strike looms.

United Parcel Services Teamsters workers are practicing picketing in advance a potential strike that would begin in August if the union doesn't reach an agreement with the company on a new contract by the end of July.Negotiations between the two sides have been touch-and-go, with agreements being reached in a number of areas like heat safety.

Unionized UPS pilots have told the UPS Teamsters that they will not cross picket lines in the event of a strike.
