Rep. James Comer (R-KY) says that additional details regarding emails on Hunter Biden, the president's son, will be given to the House Oversight Committee this week, with Wednesday being the deadline.

The Republican lawmaker also stated that he is"headed to court" to receive access to more bank records that will tell"a big story" on what involvement President Joe Biden had with his son's business schemes, as well as how he benefited from them.

Peters” & “JRB Ware” to keep his son informed on his communications with Ukraine.@POTUS is lying when he says he didn't participate or know about his family's influence peddling schemes. @MariaBartiromo pic.twitter.com/rngOqiBDj7Comer has claimed that Biden used multiple different names and aliases when emailing his son, including “Robin Ware,” “Robert L. Peters,” and “JRB Ware.

"Remember, the timeline of these emails show that Joe Biden was en route from Washington to Ukraine for the sole purpose of withholding foreign aid to Ukraine in exchange for firing the prosecutor," Comer said."And we know that happened, and we know Joe Biden accepted credit for it. He did an interview where he said, 'Well, son of a b, they fired the prosecutor before I got on the plane and left Ukraine.' Joe Biden, in his own words, said that.

Likewise, Abbe Lowell, Hunter Biden's defense attorney, dismissed questions about his client's past on Friday, indicating that the concept of joint ventures with foreign entities was"too complicated" to explain. Lowell added that Hunter Biden may be receiving tougher legal treatment than the average person due to his last name.
