It’s not like the footage is in black and white, but Addison was wearing black, gold and white when he scored his eighth touchdown of 2019 on an 18-yard run in the Hamilton Ticats’ second-last regular season game of a record-setting, 15-win campaign. Friday’s was his fourth, and best, outing in an Ottawa jersey, as Addison had five catches for 40 yards, including the 16-yard pass from Dustin Crum late in the second quarter that gave the Redblacks their first lead of the night, and one they would never relinquish.
They host the Alouettes on Saturday and then take them on again nine days later in Montreal, two games they absolutely need to win unless they plan on sweeping the mighty Argos. If and when the Redblacks get eliminated from the race, most of them, including Addison, will still have contracts to play for beyond this season.
