All eyes are on the Consumer Price Index report for insight into whether the Fed is winning the inflation fight.

Wall Street on Thursday was closely focused on the Consumer Price Index report, which showed that inflation held steady in September but increased at a slightly faster pace than economists expected. Consumer prices rose 3.7% over last year in September, matching August's increase. On a month-over-month basis, consumer prices rose 0.4%.by Russia and Saudi Arabia, which have committed to extra cuts in crude output.

BTB Real Estate Investment Trust announced today that the monthly cash distribution for the month of October 2023 is $0.025 per unit, representing $0.30 per unit on an annualized basis. The cash distribution will be paid on November 15th, 2023, to unitholders of record on October 31st, 2023.The boss of Standard Chartered has warned we should expected interest rates to stay higher for longer amid persistent inflation and continued economic growth.
