Ford Executive Chair Bill Ford delivered remarks Monday on the 'future of American manufacturing' amid the historic United Auto Workers strike.

Ford Motor Co., executive chairman Bill Ford, announces the automaker's new BlueOval Battery Park, Monday, Feb. 13, 2023, in Romulus, Mich. on the "future of American manufacturing" amid the historic United Auto Workers strike.

Ford called for an agreement with the union, and threatened a potential collapse in the automotive supply chain if the strike continues. Nearly 9,000 workers at a Ford Plant in Kentucky moved from the assembly line to the picket line, shutting down the largest and most profitable Ford plant in the world.

Fain took to Facebook on Friday, saying the union will no longer wait for Fridays to expand the strike.
