Sault Police were dispatched to the scene at around 4:30 p.m. on Sunday

A 30-year-old woman has been charged with robbery after allegedly walking out of a local business without paying for items, then assaulting an employee who confronted her.

Sault Police say the incident occurred at around 4:30 p.m. Sunday in the 0-100 block of Second Line West. Charged with one count of robbery, Kaitlyn Parr was released on an undertaking and is scheduled back in court on Dec. 11, 2023.
