KUALA LUMPUR: A single agency should be formed under the Prime Minister’s Department to cut the red tape that is hampering the growth of the electric vehicle industry in Malaysia, the Dewan Rakyat heard on Thursday .“To bring in EVs, we need approval from the Investment, Trade and Industry Ministry. To drive it on the road, we need the Transport Ministry.
