U.K. stocks break two-day dropping streak

Of the FTSE 100 constituents, investment advisors company St. James's Place PLC STJ, +3.75% saw the largest increase Monday, as shares increased 3.75%.

Prudential PLC PRU, +2.21%, a life insurance company, and investment advisors firm M&G PLC MNG, +2.18% rounded out the top five largest increases as their stocks rallied 2.21% and 2.18%, respectively. Shares of major international banks firm HSBC Holdings PLC HSBA, -2.28% and banking company NatWest Group PLC NWG, -2.12% fell 2.28% and 2.12%, respectively.

The pound was up 0.26% against dollar GBPUSD, +0.25% at $1.2151 and was down 0.17% against the euro GBPEUR, -0.16% at €1.1454.
