KUALA LUMPUR: An enforcement officer was detained by graft busters for allegedly asking for a bribe of about RM30,000 from a company owner.
Sources said the suspect is in his 40s and was detained at a cafe in Subang Jaya at about 4pm on Monday . It is learned that the suspect allegedly asked for about RM30,000 as a bribe from a company owner in exchange for covering up an offence of using a fake document to obtain sponsorship to produce a bulletin.Meanwhile, Selangor Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission director Datuk Alias Salim confirmed the suspect's detention.M'sia to attend Apec, to remain steadfast in stand on Palestine
