CLEVELAND, Ohio -People who drive on West 130th Street in Cleveland say a sewer project is causing major traffic headaches.
In September, the City of Cleveland alerted folks that all lanes of W. 130th Street would be closed starting October 2 for about 21 days for the Brookside Blvd. Sewer Project.Residents and business owners in the area tell 19 News the road closure is impacting their lives in a negative way. W 130 St & Brookside Blvd intersection closed on Oct 2, 2023 for sewer and water construction and have not re-opened.“I’d like to see them just hurry up and get it done cause the sooner they can get it done, the less complaining they’ll have from the people,” said Chuck Beam, who lives in the area.
Cleveland Police Fifth District posted an advisory on social media saying that the road would now be closed until November 20th. *** UPDATE *** UPDATE *** UPDATE *** UPDATE W. 130th will remain completely closed from Brookside and Brooklawn to West Ave in both directions until approximately November 20th.
